Kansas City Chiefs owner Clark Hunt confirmed to Pat McAfee that Taylor Swift did indeed go through the general admission gates in order to watch Travis Kelce play his games
Kansas City Chiefs owner Clark Hunt confirmed that Taylor Swift often would walk through the front gate of arenas to watch games, which the pop megastar also admitted during her appearance on the ‘New Heights’ podcast.
Swift’s appearance on her partner Travis Kelce’s podcast broke many records, completely overshadowing Donald Trump’s appearance on the ‘Joe Rogan Experience.’ At one point, more than one million viewers tuned into the premiere on YouTube, showing that fans had pined to see the star on the podcast.
During the podcast, Swift admitted that she often would go through the front gates of arenas to experience what it was like to do so. And Hunt, the Chiefs’ owner, confirmed the pop star’s claims, stating that the team’s security team has been faced with a challenge.
“Yeah, it’s been a little challenge for our security folks,” he began during a recent appearance on ‘The Pat McAfee Show.’ “They’ve done a great job, both at home games and on the road. She’s attended a number of away games as well.”
Hunt added: “And they do a great job of getting her safely into the stadium. But I think the most amazing thing about that first game, which caught us all by surprise, was the fact that she literally walked in the front door. And we had offered to get her some special security.
“And she said, ‘No, I want to be just like a typical fan. I’m coming straight in the front door.'” Hunt’s admission comes after Swift revealed on the latest ‘New Heights’ episode that when she was going to watch the Chiefs star, she would walk in through the general admission gates.
“And you want to talk about green flags. The first game she went to the [Chicago] Bears game, she literally went through the front door of the stadium,” Kelce recalled. “Through general admission, everybody on the bus to the game, and I was just like ‘Oh, she’s just in it. She’s down for the ride. She’s here for the fun.'”
Swift replied: “I don’t know what to tell you. I don’t have an alternative. I’m like, ‘We just played here three months ago and we went a different way,’ but I’m not going to say that. I’m not going to backseat drive this s—.”
The 35-year-old then explained what her attire looked like when she was in Kansas City to watch Kelce play and how seemingly easy it was for her to be among the crowd.

“I was walking in – I had a hat on and I had a mask on and I’m walking in just in the front where we’re walking in with thousands of people in Arrowhead and nobody, nobody noticed,” she continued. “There were rumors that we had been seeing each other, but I think people were like, ‘What would they talk about?’
“Nobody was like, ‘Oh yeah, we’re definitely gonna, we’re definitely going to see her there and we’re going to see her coming in through general admission.'”
It was clear that Swift was very comfortable being on the show as she shared secrets, such as her going through the general admission gates, that very few knew.
A body language expert even went as far as to state that Swift’s constant touching of Kelce shows a new level of romance between the two, with the star showing the world how she truly felt about the star tight end by how she engaged him.
