Smokey, a rescue dog, won’t go away the home except he has his elephant toy with him. His earlier homeowners had been unable to look after the dog as a result of that they had misplaced their residence.
The 5-year-old pet was given to the Franklin County Dog Shelter & Adoption Middle on Valentine’s Day, alongside along with his favourite toy “in order that he can discover consolation” in it. Smokey is so smitten along with his plush grey elephant with pink ears that his kennel posted an indication demanding that he and the elephant be adopted collectively.

Then two volunteers from the I Have A Dream Rescue Group arrived someday. They fell in love with Smokey instantly and agreed to seek out him a foster residence.
The pet can’t cease smiling now that he’s discovered a brand new residence. “He was depressed and sleeping along with his elephant till [volunteer] began speaking to him,” stated Melissa Sutherland, treasurer of I Have A Dream. “It’s unimaginable what rescue does for pets.”
