Travis Kelce is clearly not a believer in Tayvoodoo after the Kansas City Chiefs tight end promptly shot down the notion that Taylor Swifts powers have contributed to his teams success this season.
On a recent episode of the New Heights podcast, Travis and his brother, Jason Kelce, delved into an in-depth discussion of their favorite sports movies. It didnt take long, however, for the formers girlfriend to be brought up in the conversation.
After Jason named Space Jam as his favorite sports film of all time, Travis expressed his love for movies centered around Major League Baseball. Rookie of the Year, Angels in the Outfield – Id love to ——- feel what its like, he said.

Sensing a golden opportunity to poke fun at his brothers romance with Swift, Jason chimed in: I feel like you guys are the Angels in the Outfield. Theres some unknown like
Immediately picking up what Jason was referring to, Travis clapped back with a wide grin: Here he goes with this Tayvoodoo —-. This dude is such a ——–.
According to Urban Dictionary, Tayvoodoo is a sudden wave of karma resulting in crippling of mental/physical health or sudden drop in popularity/fame, thats caused by attacking or feuding with Swift. More recently, however, the term has been used to describe the positive impact that the songstress has had on Travis and the Chiefs.

Entering Week 14, the two-time defending Super Bowl champion Chiefs stand atop the AFC with an 11-1 record – their only defeat coming to the Buffalo Bills. Kelce, meanwhile, has begun to rediscover his dominant form following an uncharacteristically slow start to the season, recording 60 or more receiving yards in five of his last six games.
Swift has attended six Chiefs games at Arrowhead Stadium this season – all of which Kansas City has won. The pop icon was most recently spotted in the stands when Kelce and co. faced off against the Las Vegas Raiders, narrowly winning the contest 19-17.
Taking to social media, droves of Swifties commended Jason for acknowledging Swifts influence on the Chiefs. Tayvoodoo is real and im glad we are all on the same page about it, one X user wrote, with another adding: I love that Jason believes in tayvoodoo 100% but Travis is just like nah were just good players. Jason is such a fan girl of Taylor its so cute!!!
Others pointed out that Wednesday’s episode of New Heights seemingly wasnt the first time that Travis and Jason had butted heads over Tayvoodoo. The fact that he says here you go with the tayvoodoo AGAIN means they have discussed this in private more than once, someone said.
A fourth chimed in: That was 100% a topic that came up during the Thanksgiving dinner.
