The actress and singer took a playful jab at the former NFL star, referring to a past incident in which Sharpe was caught having sex with a woman on Instagram Live. The roast came during Palmer’s appearance on Sharpe’s popular show, “Club Shay Shay,” which premiered on Wednesday.
While the two were discussing Palmer’s experiences in Hollywood, the conversation took a humorous turn. Palmer, known for her wit and charm, shared that she had to perform makeout scenes with older men in several of her films.
“I experienced the same thing in another movie that I did where the guy was — I was 17 and he was like, 27,” Palmer, who is now 31, recounted.
Sharpe, who is 56, couldn’t resist making a joke, chiming in with, “You like ’em older, huh?” The two burst into laughter, with Palmer ready to fire back with her own joke.
“That’s what Michelle said,” Palmer quipped, referencing the infamous name of the woman Sharpe was reportedly with during his Instagram Live incident.
Sharpe was left in stitches, falling over in his seat as crew members behind the scenes joined in on the laughter.
“Oh, my goodness. Come on, Keke! It’s too soon! You’ve been waiting for that!” Sharpe managed to say between laughs.
Not missing a beat, Palmer continued, “They don’t call you hunky unc-y for nothing,” all while holding a glass of water and maintaining a playful grin.
“You better gone ‘head!” she added, with Sharpe clearly amused by her quick wit.

The back-and-forth between Palmer and Sharpe had viewers cracking up, but it also brought back memories of the incident that made headlines back in September.
Shannon Sharpe found himself at the center of a viral moment after it appeared that he accidentally broadcasted an intimate encounter on Instagram Live.
In the clip that circulated on social media, viewers could hear a woman making moaning sounds while seemingly engaging in sexual activity with Sharpe.
The woman could be heard saying, “It’s yours, Shannon,” while the camera remained pointed at a wooden floor or bedpost, never showing the two individuals involved.
Adding to the awkwardness, a few smacking sounds were also audible, along with Sharpe referring to the woman as “Michelle.” The clip quickly went viral, leading to widespread speculation and reactions from fans and media alike.
Initially, Sharpe tried to deflect the attention, claiming that his account had been “hacked.” However, he later came clean about what had actually happened. On his podcast, “Nightcap,” which he co-hosts with former NFL player Chad “Ochochinco” Johnson, Sharpe explained that the entire incident was a mistake.
“Obviously, I am embarrassed. I’m someone who is extremely, extremely private, and to have one of your most intimate moments — even just the audio — heard by the entire world, I’m embarrassed for a number of reasons,” Sharpe admitted.
He went on to explain the events leading up to the mishap. “I threw my phone on the bed, engaged in an activity. I did not know IG Live. I’ve never turned IG Live on so I don’t know how it works, and all of a sudden, my other phone started going off.”
Sharpe’s explanation made it clear that the incident was not intentional, but the embarrassment was palpable. Despite the mishap, Sharpe took the situation in stride, and it seems that he’s able to laugh about it now — especially when someone like Keke Palmer is there to poke fun at it.
The exchange between Palmer and Sharpe highlighted Palmer’s quick wit and her ability to keep things light-hearted, even when discussing potentially awkward topics. The playful roasting was all in good fun, and it’s clear that Sharpe appreciated the humor, despite the initially uncomfortable subject.
Fans of “Club Shay Shay” have come to expect candid conversations and lots of laughs, and Keke Palmer’s episode certainly delivered.
The chemistry between Palmer and Sharpe made for an entertaining interview that showed both of their personalities at their best — playful, genuine, and unafraid to laugh at themselves.
