Chargers bid to upset Chiefs on 'Sunday Night Football' takes a big hit image

Ahead of their game against the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday night, Los Angeles Chargers wide receiver Ladd McConkey was classified as a true game-time decision. He was going to give it a go, but a shoulder injury will officially keep him out of the lineup.

The rookie wide receiver has played great this year in becoming Justin Herbert’s No. 1 target in the passing game. Without him, the team will need someone like Quentin Johnston or Joshua Palmer to step up in this game. Jalen Reagor may need to figure in as well and tight end Will Dissly will need to make some plays.

The Chargers lost to the Chiefs earlier this season and find themselves in a must-win situation on Sunday Night Football if they want to have any hope of winning the AFC West division.

McConkey has been productive catching 58 passes for 815 yards and four touchdowns on the year. The Chargers will have to find a way to win without him.
