Hailey van Lith and TCU are off to a flying 9-0 start after the school’s most recent 78-42 beatdown of Florida Atlantic this week. The No. 9 Horned Frogs face their stiffest test of this season on Sunday when they host Dawn Staley and No. 3 South Carolina.

TCU’s star transfer is living up to her box office off-the-court status – van Lith ranks fifth in On3’s NIL college basketball value rankings at $779,000.

That figure ranks only behind her former LSU teammate Flau’hae Johnson ($1.5 million), UConn’s Paige Bueckers, and both Cavender twins at the University of Miami.

In 2024, van Lith has partnered with Apple Cash, LaCroix, Topps, the LSU NIL store (her former school), and the Flying T Club – a local TCU non-profit.

The star guard previously worked with Invesco QQQ, Adidas, 94 Feet of Game, Billionaire Girls Club, Dick’s Sporting Goods, the Shaquille O’Neal Foundation, and Sierato.

2024-25 marks her first season at TCU after a nomadic college basketball career. Van Lith was a two-time First-team All-ACC selected at Louisville in 2022 and 2023 before transferring to LSU.

Her Tigers’ career is most remembered for her famous shrug when attempting to guard Caitlin Clark in last season’s NCAA Tournament. The Iowa guard poured in 41 points to help her side cruise to the Final Four.

Van Lith has settled in nicely at TCU, averaging 19.4 points, 5.4 rebounds, and 6.6 assists of 44.8 percent shooting for the 9-0 Horned Frogs. She scored 16 points in 28 minutes in the win over FAU.

The former LSU guard receives help from Sedona Prince. The star center is also averaging 19.4 points per contest while chipping in with 10.8 rebounds.

The Horned Frogs will look to preserve their perfect record when they welcome No. 3 South Carolina to Fort Worth on Sunday. The Gamecocks saw their 42-game win streak snapped on November 24 with a 77-62 defeat to UCLA.

We have a top team showdown [this Sunday],” head coach Mark Campbell told the media on Thursday. “We need TCU and the community, the Student bodythis is a once-in-a-generation opportunity. I dont know the history of how often this has unfolded, my guess maybe never. I hope theres a great turnout on Sunday.”

TCU already has a pair of impressive wins already on their resume – the Horned Frogs bested then-No. 13 North Carolina State in early November and then-No.3 Notre Dame last week. Staley’s South Carolina test should prove the toughest of all for Van Lith and company.
