Taylor Swift might be one of the hardest people to shop for, but former Philadelphia Eagles player Jason Kelce has a unique Christmas gift in mind that he thinks will be perfect for the Grammy-winning superstar.
During an appearance on “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” on Thursday, Kelce, 37, admitted that finding a gift for Swift, 34, is no easy task. His solution? Something handmade, and hopefully, heartfelt.
“She’s tough to shop for,” Kelce told Kimmel. “Honestly, my only option is to give her something handmade.” He went on to explain that both Swift and his brother, Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce, already have access to everything they could ever want.
According to Forbes, Swift’s net worth stands at an astounding $1.6 billion, while Travis is worth $52 million. With that in mind, Jason figured a handmade gift would be more meaningful.
Kimmel, 57, inquired whether Jason often made sentimental gifts for those close to him. Jason laughed and replied, “I’ve never done it, but I think it can work really well. I’ve got something up my sleeve. A macaroni necklace … works on me with my kids.” His sense of humor shone through, revealing that he’s willing to go the extra mile to make something personal.
Kimmel joked, “It’d be funny if you made Taylor a macaroni necklace and all of a sudden millions of girls are wearing macaroni necklaces. Buy stock in macaroni!” Jason couldn’t help but agree, adding, “Friendship macaroni necklaces. We just started a trend.”
Elsewhere in the interview, Jason shared exciting news about his latest venture—hosting his very own late-night show. The ESPN analyst revealed that the program, titled “They Call It Late Night,” will premiere on January 4. The show will feature a mix of guests, from legendary athletes and former teammates to coaches and celebrities, all contributing to what Jason described as “a celebration.”
“We’re going to have a bunch of guys up there—legends of the game, friends that I played the game with, coaches, celebrities,” he said enthusiastically. “It’s going to be a celebration.”
The show, which will air on ESPN, marks another milestone in Jason Kelce’s post-football career, but fans might be left wondering if his brother Travis will make an appearance. Jason addressed that question, noting that his brother’s busy schedule, particularly his relationship with Swift, might make it difficult. “Travis is pretty busy these days, but maybe … we can sneak him on for an episode,” Jason teased.
Travis Kelce, 35, gained even more fame after going public with his relationship with Taylor Swift last summer. The couple’s romance has propelled Travis into the spotlight beyond the sports world, leading to increased popularity for the brothers’ “New Heights” podcast. Additionally, Travis has landed gigs hosting the show “Are You Smarter Than a Celebrity?” and even acting in Ryan Murphy’s upcoming series “Grotesquerie.”

Jason, on the other hand, retired from the NFL in March after a stellar 13-year career with the Philadelphia Eagles, and has been working as an analyst for ESPN since September. Despite his transition into media, he has occasionally found himself in the headlines for reasons other than his new career.
Earlier this month, Jason made headlines for an altercation with a fan that ended with him slamming the fan’s phone to the ground after an interaction turned heated. On Thursday, Jason faced another challenging situation when an autograph seeker shouted obscenities at him as he was leaving the set of Kimmel’s show.
Fortunately, this time, Jason managed to deescalate the confrontation peacefully, showing a calmer approach compared to the earlier incident.
The Kelce family’s fame continues to grow, with both brothers making waves in different arenas—Jason in television and media, and Travis in both sports and entertainment.
As Jason embarks on his new late-night venture and crafts his one-of-a-kind Christmas gift for Taylor Swift, it’s clear that the Kelce brothers are enjoying their time in the limelight and making the most of their unique opportunities.
