The stars were out in the Bronx last night to watch the New York Yankees defeat the Cleveland Guardians.
On Instagram, the Yankees shared a carousel of images of celebrities who attended Game One at Yankee Stadium Monday night. “Lights on, Stars out,” the baseball team captioned the post.
However, among the celebrities shown, two notable ones were missing. Taylor Swift attended the game with her boyfriend, Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce.

The post included former Yankees pitcher CC Sabathia, who threw out the first pitch of the game. Spike Lee was also included, donning a red Yankees baseball cap and a matching windbreaker.
Josh Hart, a basketball player for the New York Knicks, smiled big for the camera as he wore a navy Yankees hoodie with a gold-colored hat and a team blanket around his shoulders. Fat Joe, a Bronx native, sat in the stands in a multicolored puffer vest and a navy hoodie with a Yankees hat underneath the hood.
YouTube video game streamer Jack “CouRage” Donlop was also in attendance and wore a black shirt and pants with a navy and white letterman’s jacket over his shirt that read “World Series Champions” and the Yankees logo. Mark Iacono, owner of Lucali restaurant in Brooklyn, and Mark Brucato, a comedian, posed together with the former wearing jeans, an off-white hoodie with a Yankee hat while the latter wore jeans, a Yankee hat, and a zip-up jacket that boasted the 27 World Series wins the Yankees have.
But no Taylor and Travis were to be found. The duo were photographed at the game, sitting in a suite together.
Baseball fans were confused as to why the celebrity power couple was in attendance at the game and took to X, formally known as Twitter to air their grievances. “We get it. #TaylorSwift is there. We don’t care. #Yankees #Guardians #ALCS,” one social media user wrote.
Another added: “Why is Taylor swift at the Yankees game? Every sport tryna profit off her now lol,” referencing how the NFL’s views went up when Taylor started attending Travis’ games.
